Instead of blah, blah, blah-ing, I find myself talking like this: blog, blog, blog... :) Good thing my friends don't get tired of listening to me explain the benefits of blogging.
Why blog, after all? Well, given that many people have been struck with internet addiction, blogging is a "justified" way of spending way too much time on the internet. Instead of playing online games, peeking on the private lives of non-Hollywood human beings like you and me, instead of wasting time on the internet, blogging, if you're not studying or earning money online, is the better way.
Blogging is to scrap booking, journal writing, stamp collecting and autograph signing in the olden days. Only, blogging gets you farther into continents in seconds when the old fashioned hobbies took time and were pretty much solitary endeavors. Blogging lets you interact with fellow blogger in real time while arranging the objects of your fancy. And if you are a poet by heart, you get published at the click of the "enter" button, and voila! You have readers! No need to wait for publishing houses to accept your manuscript/s, with blogging, you get your word out there from your own site!
But like everything else, when one ventures into this world, it is best to remember the always-in-fashion advice: blog responsibly and be polite!
